consent and comfort levels

I spoke with V, again, about my sexblogging, and she said she's really not comfortable with people reading about sexy things she does in such a public venue as this. I have deleted the posts talking about her, so if you're wondering where they went, that's what's happened.

It's dissapointing, a bit, but I firmly feel that sexy things are only good and sexy if everyone involved is comfortable with everything going on, and that includes my blogging about it.

Arel had a date!

So, the coworker that I've been crushing on, that I mentioned in this post. I asked her out on Sunday, adding "I'm not sure if things would work out between us, but I like you a lot." Namely, I figured she was mono and vanilla, and sub-leaning if into anything kinky at all.

But she accepted, to my pleasant surprise, and last night we had our date. It was an awesome date. :D When she got home, I messaged her and mentioned that I had some serious business stuff that we should talk about, at some point before we had any more dates, and we decided to just have that conversation now. It was about midnight by that point, but I was like "meh, fuck bedtime."

And it turns out that she's kinky. She's a dom. And she's not opposed to having some sort of open relationship structure. And we also connect on all these nerdy, funny, intellectual points, and yeah. I'm REALLY happy! I cannot believe my stupendously good luck!

I mean, it's still, we only had one date. We're not in a relationship yet. But we both really like each other, and we're pretty compatible, so the forecast is very sunny!
